DIRK CUSSLER

Dirk Cussler (born Jan 1, 1961), an MBA from Berkeley, worked for many years in the financial arena, and now devotes himself full-time to writing. For the last several years, he has been an active participant and partner in his father's NUMA expeditions and served as president of NUMA and is also a member of the Board of Trustees.

He lives in Phoenix, Arizona.

Dirk  is the son of best selling author Clive Cussler. With the publication of Black Wind (2004), Cussler is "passing the torch" of the Dirk Pitt series to his son, who als happens to be the namesake for the Pitt character.
